| | This week I will be preparing our breakfast at night rather than today. We are going to start have a "porridge" type cereal in the morning. The book I am currently read "Nourishing Traditions" encourages overnight soaking for any grain. We will start eating oatmeal during the week for breakfast. I take 1 1/2 cups of rolled oats (old fashion..not instant), 1 cup water, and 3 Tablespoons of Kefir mix together and let soak overnight. In the morning I add an additional 1 cup of water and cook on the stove for about 5 minutes and its done. I serve with Organic butter (real butter!) Organic raw sugar, raw honey, Organic frozen berries (this morning was blueberries), and raisins. We all fix our oatmeal the way we like it.
All Done!
