Making Breakfast Monday!

This week I will be preparing our breakfast at night rather than today.  We are going to start have a "porridge" type cereal in the morning.  The book I am currently read "Nourishing Traditions" encourages overnight soaking for any grain.  We will start eating oatmeal during the week for breakfast.

I take 1 1/2 cups of rolled oats (old fashion..not instant), 1 cup water, and 3 Tablespoons of Kefir mix together and let soak overnight.

In the morning I add an additional 1 cup of water and cook on the stove for about 5 minutes and its done.

I serve with Organic butter (real butter!) Organic raw sugar, raw honey, Organic frozen berries (this morning was blueberries), and raisins.  We all fix our oatmeal the way we like it.
